Seating plan of the AT&T Park

AT&T Park is home to the San Francisco Giants. Not only is it located in one of the best cities in America, it provides you with the traditional baseball experience while giving you in the priceless view of the San Francisco Bay. With our detailed San Francisco Giants seating chart, you’ll have all of the information you could need to decide which tickets you should buy in order to have the perfect day at the ballpark.

Reserve level (300)

As far as upper decks go, the view at San Francisco Stadium isn’t bad in the slightest. At most MLB venues, if money isn’t a concern, the ‘nosebleeds’ are never recommended. But AT&T Park is unlike most stadiums, and there can actually be a few perks to sitting in these sections. The ballpark looks onto McCoveys Cove, and all of San Francisco Bay. With only 40,000 seats in the Park, no one has a bad view. My only qualm with the Reserve Level is the weather. At night, the wind comes whipping off the water, so you’ll definitely need to bring a jacket.

Sections in the 300’s (302-336) have 18-19 rows, with 22 seats per a row as the most common layout (318, 319, 320). Though this is the standard at AT&T Park, this can vary in section, such as sections 332 or 333. Seat number 1 is always located closer to the lower numbered section. For example, seat number 1 in section 320 is closest to seat number 22 in section 319.

Club level (200s)

Club level seats are one of the most luxurious—but also expensive—ways to watch a Giants game. They feature nicer restrooms, short lines for food and bathrooms, extra leg room, more comfortable seats, and exclusive entrances. Club level also offers elevators, more food options, waiter services, alcohol service, and indoor lobby and concessions that offer a relief from the San Francisco’s Bay Wind.

There are 5,200 Club seats between sections 202 to 234 and either 11 or 13 seats per row (depending on the section). Section’s 207-225 are the most expensive Club Seats, but also offer some of the best views in the entire stadium. In these sections, seat number 1 is always located closer to the section next to it with the lower number. For example, seat number 1 in section 230 is closest to seat number 16 in section 229.

San Francisco Giants lower box & club level seats (100’s)

The lower box & club seats are the closest, nicest, and most expensive seats in the San Francisco AT&T Stadium. You’ll be shelling out the big bucks for these precious seats, but the price justifies the experience. Most sections have 38 rows and between 18 and 22 seats per row. Seat number 1 is always located closer to the section next to it with the lower number.  For example, seat number 1 in section 123 is closest to seat number 18 in section 122.

Premium seats in the 100’s sections are located in sections 106-110, 112, 113, 115, 117, 119, 121, 122, 123, 124 below row 31. Warning: the seats located in the last few rows of these sections (right around 40-41) aren’t premium for a reason. This is supported by someone very in-the-know at AT&T Park, who stated that “the view of the game & scoreboard is a bit more challenging at the very rear of the section (Rows 40-41).”

The overhang from the 200’s sections may block a significant amount of your sightline in these seats. In other words, they’re obstructed view. Sections 104, 105, 106, and 127-135 have this same problem. A good rule of thumb for the 100’s sections would be to avoid seats in the last few rows of these sections.

The Giants’ dugout is located behind section 122 & 123 and the away team’s dugout is located behind sections 108 and 109.

Seats to avoid at AT&T park

  1. Section 334, Row 18, Seat 21, $20-28: You can’t get farther from home plate, and you can’t see left field.
  2. Section 136, Row 3, Seat 4, $28: The Giants insist they don’t sell this ticket situated behind the Chevron cartoon cars in the left field bleachers, but one fan said she bought it from an on-line broker.
  3. Section 142, Row 33, Seat 25, $13-20 Deep in center and unable to see right field, thanks to a concessions structure.
  4. Section 149, Row 1, Seat 20, $28-38: No leg room, but you can see past the foul pole to home plate. However, the rest of the field is obstructed.
  5. Section 149, Row 2, Seat 19: Need to lean to see past the foul pole to see home plate.

How to get there?

Perfectly situated and centrally located in San Francisco, AT&T Park is one of the most unique venues. The best way to get to AT&T Park is to plan ahead and consider all the transportation options available to you.

From the Peninsula/South Bay

Take I-280 north (or US-101 north to I-280 north) to the Mariposa Street exit. Turn right on Mariposa Street, then left on Third Street to get to the parking lots.

From the East Bay

Take I-80/Bay Bridge to the Fifth Street exit. Bear right onto Fifth St. Turn right onto Folsom and right onto Fourth St. Continue on Fourth St. to ballpark lots.

From the North Bay

Take US101 south/Golden Gate Bridge to the Marina Blvd. exit. Continue on Marina Blvd. past Fort Mason and turn left onto Bay Street. Continue on Bay and turn right on The Embarcadero. Continue on The Embarcadero under the Bay Bridge until it turns into King Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street (the ballpark is on your left) and continue across the bridge to the parking lots.

These directions provide the most direct routes to the Giants’ parking lots, but other city streets and freeway exits provide alternate routes that fans are encouraged to use to avoid congestion. Please call 511, or go to www.511.org, for real-time traffic conditions.

Post-Game Routes

Avoid post-game traffic congestion by exiting the ballpark area to the south. For example, fans can reach I-80/Bay Bridge by going south on either Third or Fourth streets, turning right on 16th Street and turning right on Seventh Street. From southbound Terry Francois Boulevard, turn left onto Illinois Street, turn right on 18th Street then take the northbound I-280 . freeway to the Sixth Street exit.

Bike Parking

Secure bike parking is available on the Portwalk near the Dignity Health Center, and is operated by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, which is an independent contractor. Bicycles left at the bike parking lot are not the responsibility of the Giants.

The bike parking lot opens two hours prior to the scheduled first pitch until 30 minutes after the game’s final pitch. There is no charge for this service, but a donation can be made. All proceeds benefit the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. Employee bike parking is available next to the Second and King Street employee entrance by the Players Lot.

Public transportation

In San Francisco

Muni Metro service to the Ballpark is available daily on the E Embarcadero, N Judah and T Third lines. Fans arriving in downtown San Francisco on BART or other Muni lines can transfer to the N or T at Embarcadero Station to continue to the Ballpark. Board trains headed to Mission Bay, Caltrain or Sunnydale and get off at the King & 2nd St stop. Muni provides additional service on game days beginning two hours before a game until 20 minutes after the start of the game.

The following Muni buses also stop within one block of the Ballpark: 10 Townsend, 30 Stockton, 45 Union/Stockton and 47 Van Ness.

Save time and avoid crowds by purchasing your fare before boarding Muni. MuniMobile is the easiest way buy your tickets for any Muni services instantly before you ride. Skip the lines and buy tickets ahead of time or on the go, then activate when you are ready to ride. With MuniMobile, your phone is your fare. Fans may also use a preloaded Clipper card, or purchase Muni tickets at Embarcadero Station.

From the Peninsula and the South Bay – San Mateo and Santa Clara

Take Caltrain from stations throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo counties directly to the ballpark – the Fourth and King Street Station is one block from the ballpark. Or take BART from Millbrae, SFO, South San Francisco, San Bruno, Colma or Daly City to downtown San Francisco. Then walk or transfer to Muni Metro to the ballpark (transfer from BART to MUNI Metro at Civic Center, Powell, Montgomery or Embarcadero).

San Francisco Bay Ferry provides direct service to the ballpark for most games and service to the Ferry Building at other times from Vallejo, Alameda Main Street and Oakland’s Jack London Square. AC Transit also provides bus service from many East Bay cities to the Temporary Transbay Terminal, a short walk to the ballpark.

From the North Bay – Marin and Sonoma

Take Golden Gate Transit’s Larkspur Ferry to the ballpark – direct service is available for all games.

Due to limited parking at the Larkspur Ferry Terminal, fans taking the Golden Gate Ferry to day games during the week should be directed to park in the Corte Madera overflow parking lot (1557 Redwood Highway, adjacent to the Village at Corte Madera). After the game, shuttles will bring fans back to the overflow lot. No shuttle fare or parking fee will be collected.

There is more helpful information at the Golden Gate Transit website.

From Napa and Solano

For all Saturday and Sunday games, take the dedicated Vallejo Ferry directly to and from the ballpark. Return service from the ballpark is also provided for select weeknight games Monday-Friday. On weekday games, take a regularly scheduled Vallejo ferry to the Ferry Building and walk or take Muni Metro to the ballpark.

There is more helpful information at the Vallejo Ferry website.

From the Sacramento Area and Silicon Valley

With 17 stops between Auburn/Sacramento and San Jose, the Amtrak-operated Capitol Corridor is a fun and convenient way to travel to San Francisco and Oracle Park. Passengers from the Sacramento area can transfer to BART at the Richmond Station for service into San Francisco, or they can take a dedicated bus from the Emeryville Station that goes to San Francisco’s Transbay Terminal, which is about a mile from the ball park.

Passengers from San Jose can take the train to the Oakland Coliseum Station and transfer to BART for service into San Francisco. The Capitol Corridor also stops at Oakland’s Jack London Square, which is just steps from the San Francisco Bay Ferry. The Capitol Corridor sells discounted BART tickets and Muni tokens on board the train in the Café Car.

Facilities

Peet’s @Café

Located behind the centerfield bleachers, the walk-in Peet’s @Café (pronounced At Café) serves as a gathering spot for fans during the game who want to follow the worldwide social media chatter about the team, players, coaches and all things related to the #SFGiants and Major League Baseball.

Oracle Park is one of the most socially engaged venues in the world, and fans are able to see the social conversation in real-time as well as view their own tweets and photos sent via Instagram. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Giants in San Francisco, the Giants have added the Hall of Bobbleheads, a bobblehead display inside the Peet’s @Café that will celebrate the history of Giants bobbleheads given away at Candelestick Park and Oracle Park.

Along with a permanent display inside the Peet’s @Cafe of all stadium giveaway bobbleheads, there will also be a temporary exhibit that will change throughout the season that celebrates the many special event bobbleheads that Giants fans have grown to love. Inside the Hall of Bobbleheads, you will learn the story of how the Giants helped start a new movement of the modern bobblehead by creating a Willie Mays Bobblehead in 1999, part of the “Tell it Goodbye” celebration at Candlestick Park.

The overwhelming demand and popularity of this bobblehead sparked many teams to also giveaway bobbleheads to their fans. When you visit the Hall of Bobbleheads, you will be greeted by a lifesize recreation of the 1999 Willie Mays Bobblehead, suitable for selfie.

Inside the Peet’s @Café, fans will find a state-of-the-art 12 foot by 4 foot video wall displaying #SFGiants baseball social chatter throughout the world, including trending tweets, popular Instagram photos, results from Facebook polls and check-ins. Adjacent to the sides of the Pulse Board are two 50-inch LCD Screens which show batting practice and the live game feed.

The Peet’s @Café features a coffee bar serving Peet’s Coffee and Tea and offers full espresso and coffee service served by Juma Ventures. To connect with the Giants social media channels, visit sfgiants.com/Connect and follow Peet’s @CafeSFG on Twitter and Instagram. If you’re visiting Oracle Park, text ballpark to 31826 to download MLB.com’s Ballpark mobile app. Message and Data Rates may apply.

History

Oracle Park, with its breathtaking views and classic design, received rave reviews throughout the country as one of the smash hits of 2000.

The first privately financed ballpark in Major League Baseball since Dodger Stadium, the Giants’ new home features an inspiring nine-foot statue of America’s greatest living ballplayer, Willie Mays, at the public entrance; Portuguese water dogs who fetch home runs that splash into McCovey Cove (named after another Hall of Fame Willie); an 80-foot Coca-Cola bottle with playground slides and miniature Oracle Park behind left field that has become a magnet for kids of all of ages; and mass public transit that rivals any sports complex in the world.

Columnist Peter Gammons wrote: “It’s hard to say what’s best about [SBC] Park, except that it is San Francisco. The view from the worst seats in the house still gives you a view of the Bay Bridge and the marina. As great as Camden Yards, Turner Field, The Jake and Coors Field are, this is the best fan’s ballpark because it was conceived, built and paid for by Giants owner Peter Magowan, a legitimate baseball fan.”

Magowan, who led a group of San Francisco business leaders in saving the Giants from moving to Florida in an 11th-hour effort, always knew the Giants franchise was not secure in San Francisco until a new ballpark was built to replace much-maligned Candlestick Park.

With an ambitious financing plan in place, the Giants’ president joined club Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Larry Baer in orchestrating a marketing campaign that reaped 29,500 season ticket holders, including 15,000 Charter Seat members. To put those figures in perspective, only three previous times in franchise history had the Giants sold more than even 10,000 season tickets, with an all-time high of 13,200. What’s more, the Charter Seat total more than tripled the previous record for a Major League Baseball team.

For his vision and leadership, Magowan was “2000 Executive of the Year” by Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal. While certainly a prestigious honor to receive, perhaps the greatest reward for Magowan that year was merely watching endless capacity crowds jam into the city’s sparkling new jewel by the bay, and simply knowing that Giants baseball is alive and well in San Francisco — today and for many generations to come.
