A cricket player’s jersey number is their form of identification in the game. You may even call it a tag. Every player has an inscription of this significant number alongside their surname at the back of their jersey. It is easier to remember the jersey number of a cricketer than their actual name.

Dwayne Bravo

Dwayne John Bravo is a Trinidadian cricketer and a former captain of the West Indies cricket team. A genuine right arm fast bowling all-rounder, well known for his aggressive batting in the lower order, and for the variety of lengths in last overs. During his prime, he was regarded as one of the best death bowlers in T20 Cricket. He’s also known as a singer.

He was a key member of the West Indies team that won the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy, the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 and the 2016 ICC World Twenty20.

In domestic cricket, Bravo chose to play for his native Trinidad and Tobago in 2002. He has also played for the Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Lions and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League, the Lahore Qalanders and Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League, the Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League, the Chittagong Kings in the Bangladesh Premier League, and Kent and Essex in English county cricket. In 2013, he was named as a franchise player at the launch of the Caribbean Premier League.

After initially announcing his retirement from international cricket in October 2018, Bravo came out of retirement in December 2019 in preparation for the 2020 T20 World Cup. On 10th October 2021, while playing with Chennai Super Kings, Bravo completed 550 wickets in his T20 career in the Qualifier 1 match of Indian Premier League against Delhi Capitals.

Wahab Riaz is a Pakistani cricketer. He is a left-arm fast bowler and a right-handed batsman. He frequently bowls at speeds of around 90 mph (144.8 km/h) and has reached 96 miles per hour (154 km/h). His all-round performance in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 earned him worldwide recognition. In August 2018, he was one of 33 players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). In September 2019, Riaz announced that he would be taking a break from red-ball cricket to focus on the shorter formats of the game. In June 2020, Riaz said he was willing to play Test cricket again, ahead of Pakistan’s tour to England.

Paul Adriaan van Meekeren is a Dutch cricketer known for playing with Gloucestershire County Cricket Club. He has played domestically for Somerset and Durham in English county cricket, and for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in T20 franchise cricket. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler.
